Anyone under 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by a parent or guardian THE ENTIRE EVENT - no exceptions - we will ask for proof in the way of birth certificate or guardianship papers upon arrival at the gate.
Show up without a parent, you will be asked to go home. Permission slips won't work, your parent needs to be staying at the event the entire time you are. Nurse is running gate, she is making no exceptions.
All participants (and parents of participants under 18) will be asked to sign a waiver and release of liability at the gate - go to the Resources tab to read the waiver.
Kids 12 and under are free! Families are welcome and encouraged to teach our younger generation the 10 principles of Burning Man. Children will need a free ticket, valid with a corresponding Adult ticket.
Participants ages 13 to 17 can buy a Teen Ticket for a discounted price of $25.00 Child and Teen tickets are only valid with a corresponding Adult ticket, and that Adult must be your PARENT or Legal Guardian.
PRESALES ONLY!!!!! No tickets will be sold at the gate. NONE. Participants without proper ID and ticket will be turned away. There are absolutely no exceptions to this.
With the purchase of your ticket, you voluntarily assume the risk of property loss or damage, personal or bodily injury, serious injury or death by attending Idaho Decompression and forever release, discharge and shall hold Idaho Burners Alliance, Inc. and its affiliates harmless from any claims arising from any such risk, even if caused by the negligent act, error or omission of Idaho Burners Alliance, Inc. or its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agent, volunteers or representatives.
Idaho Burners Alliance, Inc. does not permit or condone any underage drinking or illegal drug use - Security will confiscate any contraband and offenders may be asked to leave the event. Local authorities will be on site, too, so don't be that guy.
You agree to read and abide by any rules put forth by Idaho Burners Alliance, Inc., the organizers of Idaho Decompression, and to follow all federal, state and local laws.
Leave No Trace, Pack It In – Pack It Out Event - you are expected to keep your campsite clean during the event and pack out ALL - and we mean ALL - of your trash....and some of your neighbors', too, in case they forget.
Tickets are non-refundable even if the event is terminated early or canceled due to harsh weather, acts of nature, governmental regulation, or other conditions beyond Idaho Burners Alliance, Inc. control. The ticket is a revocable license that may be refused by Idaho Burners Alliance, Inc. for any reason.
The purchase and use of a ticket for your admittance to the event confirms your agreement to the terms reflected here.
Idaho Decompression has a zero tolerance policy towards trespassing. You will receive a wristband upon entry and you must wear your wristband at all times. If your wristband comes off you need to present it to security right away (with your valid ID again) to get a new one or you will be asked to pay again. Please challenge anyone NOT wearing their wristband. And keep your ticket stub in case you lose your wristband. It will be pretty hard to keep you at the event if you can't seem to find either and claim you really did have a ticket and wristband. We reserve the right to search vehicles and campsites for trespassers, and to eject and prosecute anyone without a wristband.

If you would like to attend our precomp event to get more information about volunteer positions, eat grilled cheese, get a discount on tickets, and meet the leads. Idaho Decompression Ticket Scholarships
Idaho Decompression is offering a ticket scholarship program for 2019. The program is intended for those experiencing any form of financial hardship that would like to receive a full or partial scholarship to offset the ticket cost for themselves and any teenage children.
- To receive a scholarship one must apply.
- IBA Board members and Scholarship Committee members are not eligible to apply.
- Applications will be accepted through Friday, September 6, 2019.
- Applicants will be informed of ticketing decisions by September 13, 2019.
- No one can receive a scholarship two years in a row. The selection process will give priority to new applicants, those who have never received a scholarship for this event in the past.
- The selection process will give priority to those who have never attended Idaho Decompression.
- You must be an adult, 18 or over, to apply for a scholarship. ID will be checked at time ticket is issued. Every adult in a family must apply for their own scholarship. Minors, under 18, cannot apply for a scholarship, but a parent who is applying for a scholarship may request to have one or more youth tickets covered in addition to the adult ticket.
